J'khand: JMM MP Mahto shot, condition critical

Jamshedpur, Mar 04: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MP Sunil Mahtowas shot at and grievously injured while three of his commandoes werekilled allegedly by CPI (ML) activists at Kesharpur near Ghatshila inEast Singbhum district of Jharkhand tonight.

Official sources said the MP was stated to be in a criticalcondition in Tata Main Hospital where he was rushed soon after beingshot.

Sources said Mr Mahto had gone to East Singbhum district to attend a football match where he was attacked by the extremists.

The militants, in an ambush, had snatched the weapons from the commandoes.
