Thackeray's effigy burnt for remarks over Kalam

Mumbai, Jan 31: The Nationalists Congress Party (NCP) workers today burnt Sena Supremo Bal Thackeray in effigy here for his remarks against President A P J Abdul Kalam last week.

More 100 NCP workers led by Munna Tripati burnt the effigy on the BMC ground at Santacruz, north west Mumbai protesting against alleged UN Parliamentary language used by the Shiv Chief during the election rally held at Shivaji Park last week.
