Kalam is unable to see anything: Thackerey

Thane, Jan: Shiv Sena Supremo Balasaheb Thackerey today urged people to vote for his party in the upcoming municipal polls here, scheduled for February 1.

Addressing an election rally in the city, he made a dig at President APJ Abdul Kalam and the Congress party.

Referring to Kalam, Mr Thackeray said the President was unable to see anything due to his long hair. He asked why was the President delaying the hanging of Afzal Guru, accused in the attack on the Parliament. by not rejecting his clemency plea.

''I will give him a pair of scissors with which he can cut his hair,'' he said.

He called the Congressmen ''hijras'' (eunuchs) for always following what the party high command ordered them to do so.
