Dubai fire vicims struggling for life, 4 Indians killed
Dubai, Jan 20: Three workers are still fighting for life in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital here today, two days after a ghastly fire killed four Indians in an inferno that swept through some floors of a 37-storey building under construction.
Among the dead, who could not be identified so far, were Mohammed Hamza Kalari Kunjabi and Abdul Aziz from Kerala.
The identities of two others are yet to be verified, while police are investigating the cause of the fire.
Indian consulate officials reported that the three workers, in critical condition, were admitted to Rashid Hospital.
The company promoting the project, the Fortune Group, vowed it would pay compensation apart from the insurance money to the families of the dead.
