Sunita Williams congratulates ISRO's PSLV-C7 launch

New Delhi, Jan 10: Indian American astronaut Sunita Williams today congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists on the successful launch of PSLV-C7.

''Congratulations, it is a great achievement,'' Sunita said in reply to a question during a satellite interaction at the US embassy here with students.

Speaking from the US International Space station, the astronaut said India should now look forward to sending manned vehicle also.

The ISRO today reached a new milestone when PSLV-C7 successfully launched the maiden Space Capsule Recovery Experiment (SRE), a recoverable satellite as the first step to develop reusable launch vehicles, and three other satellites.
