'We have done the text book mission successfully'
Sriharikota, Jan 10: ''Its a text book book mission we have done it successfully, a beaming ISRO chief Madhavan Nair said after the successful launch of PSLV-C7 from the SHAR range here today.
Speaking after the success of the first multiple mission, he said that all the four satellites had been placed in the required orbits.'' ''We have done it successfully,'' Mr Nair reiterated, apparently referring to the failure of the last mission when GSLV-F02 failed to put ISAT 4C into the orbit on July 10 last year.
''Our boys have done extremely well and its a text book mission'' he said, adding ''next year our target is moon mission Chandrayan-1.'' With today's successful launch and the injection of the first of its kind Space Capsule Recovery Experiment (SRE-1), India forayed into the re-entry technology and joined the elite group of nations in possessing the technology and came a step closer to sending an Indian to space by its own efforts.
