ULFA militants kill nine labourers in Asom

Guwahati, Jan 8: Nine people were killed in separate incidents inAsom tonight notwithstanding the red alert sounded by the stategovernment.

ULFA militants, in a motorcycle, killed seven labourers andinjured three others at a village under Kakotibari police station inSibasagar district of Upper Asom.

The workers were staying in a rented house in the compound of one Girija Konwar.

In another incident, ULFA ultras struck in a brick kiln at Moranand shot dead a person and injured two others. Besides, a businessmanwas shot dead in the evening by unidentified ultras at kachugaon inKokrajhar district.
