Rediff.Com launches mail access service through mobile

Kolkata, Dec 27: Rediff.Com India Ltd, a leading worldwide online providers of news, information, entertainment and shopping services, today announced the launch of "Access Mails Anywhere" service for its email users.

An official company release said here that with the launch of this new service, the users would be able to read, reply, delete or forward mails now from their mobile phones. The users would have to configure their rediffmail accounts with their mobile numbers to access their inbox by sending 'mail' as sms to 7333.

Launching this value-added service, Rediff.com Vice-President Marketing Manish Agarwal said,''This feature will help users to access mails directly who do not have GPRS connections.''
