RSS once again pledges to build Ram Mandir
Thane, Dec 24: The Sangh Parivar once again pledged to build the 'Ram Mandir' at the disputed site in Ayodhya and reiterated its commitment towards the formation of an 'Akhand Bharat,' which includes Pakistan and Bangladesh, on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of Guru Golwalkar, here today.
The festivities were conducted at the Gamdevi Maidan in the heart of the city. Guru Golwalkar was the second 'Sarsangh Chalak' of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
A make-shift temple, adorned with the statues of Ram, Sita and Laxman was set up on the grounds and several pundits chanted religious hymns and mantras.
The ground was covered with a huge map of 'Akhand Bharat' decorated with flowers and colours.
'Akhand Bharat' was the dream of Guru Golwalkar.
The Ram temple, promised by the Sangh Parivar, was depicted at the disputed site, in the midst of the ground.
An activist of the RSS asserted ''Mandir Vahi Banayenge'' reflecting the resolve to construct the temple on that very spot, where the Babri Masjid stood earlier.
