'Advani will have my 'full' support for PM post'
Lucknow, Dec 24: Former prime minister and senior BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee yesterday said he will extend his ''full'' support to the candidature of Leader of the Opposition L K Advani for the post of Prime Minister, if any such proposal comes up.
Mr Vajpayee, left the media speculating here at the meeting of party National Council when he was asked if Mr Advani has his backing in the race to prime minister's post by replying ''poora'' (full) and denying any further explanation.
He also denied queries if he was not in the race for the top post.
Mr Advani had equated his position as Leader of Opposition with that of ''PM in waiting'' in a recent interview to a channel fuelling speculations that he might be the party's prime ministerial candidate.
