K Chandrashekhar Rao takes oath as LS member

New Delhi, Dec 11: Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today administered the oath of office to newly-elected member of the House, K Chandrashekhar Rao.

Mr Rao, elected from Karimnagar in Andhra Pradesh, after taking the oath raised the slogan of 'Jai Telengana'.

He had earlier quit his seat accusing the ruling UPA of not keen on maintaining its promise on a seperate Telangana state.

He along with other four members today sat with UPA members wearing pink ''Angbastra'' on his shoulder.
