Nitish govt fails on all fronts: Tariq Anwar
Patna, Nov 25: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) general secretary Tariq Anwar today charged the Nitish Kumar government for with "failing" to fulfil its pre-poll promises.
Addressing his party workers, who sat on a day-long dharna to protest the "failures" of the NDA government, Anwar said Mr Kumar-led NDA alliance in the state had promised to check crime within three months, but even after completion of one year, reports of kidnappings and murders were still pouring in.
He alleged that the minorities were not safe during the NDA regime.
Anwar dubbed as "eyewash" Mr Kumar's claim of largescale inflow of investment in the state.
"Nothing tangible is visible at ground level and Mr Kumar is not shying to pat his own back on the so called achievements of his government, " he added.
