Guwahati, Nov 23: At least two persons, including a minor, were killed and about seven injured when an explosion rocked the autorickshaw stand in front of Guwahati Railway Station at around 1715 hours.

Police suspect that an improvised explosive device was planted by the banned ULFA militants. Besides, the busiest railway station in the region, the largest Army transit camp, a BSF transit camp and railway reservation counter are located near the site of blast.

The area is usually under strict vigil of government Railway Police and the Army.
