TNTF observes fast protesting Sealing operations

Chennai, Nov 16: Tamil Nadu Traders Federation(TNTF) led by their State President T Vellayan, observed a day's fast here today protesting against the ongoing 'Sealing' of commercial establishments in New Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vellayan urged the Centre to enact a 'Special Act' to protect and safeguard the interests of the traders, who were concentrating on their profession legitimately for the last several decades.

He said the political parties should also come forward to the rescue of traders.

General Secretary of the Federation K Mohan said, if the Central Governmet failed to solve the problem of the affected traders, they would be forced to intensify their stir.
