4 convicted in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case
Mumbai, Oct 12: The TADA court here today four accused persons, close aides of prime absconding accused Tiger Memon, for their involvement in 1993 serial bomb blasts case.
The court, however, acquitted another blast accused for lack of evidence.
The four accused - Shanawaz Khan, Shariff Khan, Sujat Alam and Sheikh Ethesham - were today found guilty by designated TADA Judge P D Kode.
Shanawaz Khan, Sheikh Ethesham and Sujat Alam were found guilty under the IPC, TADA and other acts. However, Sharif Khan was found guilty under the Customs Act.
The court, however, acquitted accused Ashfaque Kasam Hawalder for lack of evidence.
