Four held guilty in 93 Mumbai serial blasts case

Mumbai, Oct 11: The TADA court today convicted four blasts accused of landing a consignment of deadly RDX at Shekhadi in Raigad district, which was used in the 1993 serial bomb blasts in the metropolis that killed 257 people.

Special Judge P D Kode held accused number 18 Suleman Ghawte, accused number 31 Yusuf Khan and accused number 34 Abdul Aziz Gharatkar guilty u/s 3(3) of TADA Act. However, the court did not find enough evidence against accused number 27 Rashid Alware to convict him under Tada but he was found guilty under Customs Act.

All the four were on bail and were taken into custody following the pronouncement.
