WB Gov wishes Mamata speedy recovery
Kolkata, Sep 29: West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi has taken detailed information from the doctors, attending on Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee, about her condition.
Since no visitor is allowed to meet her at present, the Governor has sent her a letter wishing speedy recovery.
Ms Banerjee was admitted to a city nursing home yesterday after she complained off chestpain and breathlessness.
She was rushed to hospital after she experienced pain while breathing and aws given oxygen and saline, said party general secretary Mukul Roy.
He said the party supremo was suffering from severe chest pain, respiratory trouble and haematoma due to the 'injury' she suffered during a scuffle with state police while staging a dharna at Singur on September 25.
'' The pain and the breathlessness is a result of the injury she received at Singur,'' Mr Roy said.
