Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda resigns
Ranchi, Sept 14: Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today tendered his resignation to Governor Syed Sibtey Razi after a brief extended monsoon session.
The 18-month-old BJP-led NDA government in the state was reduced to a minority after four ministers resigned from the government on September 5.
The rebel Ministers joined the Opposition UPA taking its tally to 43 in the 82-member House.
After announcing his decision to resign during the brief assembly session, Mr Munda rushed to the Raj Bhawan where he submitted his resignation to the Governor.
