PM condemns Malegaon blasts, appeals for calm
New Delhi, Sep 8: Condeming the Malegaon terror attack, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today appealed for peace and communal harmony and urged the people to remain calm.
The Prime Minister has been kept appraised by the Union Home Ministry and Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh about the blasts, a PMO spokesman said.
Investigations into the incidents were on and relief and medical help was being provided to the injured, he said.
