Mumbai blasts: Police investigates the Indore link

Indore, July 19: Police have denied reports that the e-mail, sent to media by Lashkar-e-Qahar claiming responsibility for Mumbai serial blasts, originated from Indore.

Highly placed police sources said investigations were made into reports that e-mail was sent from Khajrana area in Indore. However, it was yet to be confirmed whether the e-mail originated from here.

Mumbai Police have been informed about this.

After Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) came under the eye of suspicion in connection with the Mumbai blasts, a close eye on its activities was being kept in Madhya Pradesh.
