Bush phones PM; Offers support against terror
New Delhi, Jul 13: US President George W Bush today telephoned Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and offered his country's support to India in its fight against terrorism in the aftermath of the serial blasts in Mumbai in which nearly 200 people were killed and more than 700 injured.
In a brief conversation this morning, Mr Bush also offered his condolences to the families of the victims.
''The President expressed his sympathy and support of his government to India in its fight against terrorism,'' said Dr Sanjaya Baru, media adviser to the Prime Minister.
