Pramod Mahajan's PA Bibek Moitra cremated

Mumbai, June 4: The body of Bibek Biman Mitra, personal assistant of late Pramod Mahajan, who died of an apparent drug overdose early of Friday in New Delhi, was consigned to flames at the Turbhe crematorium at Navi Mumbai near here.

Mumbai BJP president Prakash Mehta, state unit office bearers Vinod Tawde, Madhu Chavan, Mumbai BJP corporators and several party activists were present on the occasion to bid a farewell to Moitra, who had spent 22 years in the party and was the PA to Gopinath Munde and Pramod Mahajan for the last 15 years.

Bibek's father Biman Moitra, a retired IPS officer from Kolkata who had served as a security officer with Godrej, lit the funeral pyre.
