Airtel expands network in North Eastern states

Guwahati, Jun 3: Airtel has expanded its network in five North Eastern states after introducing its services in Manipur recently.

The company has its presence in Asom, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.

Airtel is likely to start its operations in Aizawl, the capital town of Mizoram, soon during the second half of the month, Airtel sources said here.

Bharati Airtel Limited, one of the country's leading private mobile service providers, has more than 20.68 million mobile customers throughout the country.

The company is the only operator providing mobile services in all the 23 circles in India, it said.
