Militants can return from PoK: Manmohan Singh
Srinagar, May 24: In yet another major initiative to bring about a lasting peace in strife-torn Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today adopted a soft approach towards militants, saying those who crossed the Line of Control (LoC) can return and asserted that the cases of detainees will be reviewed.
In his opening remarks at the second round-table conference, the Prime Minister said, ''in the light of changing situation and environment, we are reviewing the cases of all the detainees.'' ''Included in this review are the cases of those who crossed the Line of Control (LoC) after violating our laws and are now anxious to return to their homes here,'' Dr Singh said.
