Doda: Rajnath's exception to Azad's statement
New Delhi, May 16: BJP President Rajnath Singh today took strong exception to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad accusing the BJP of "fomenting discontent while not condemning the terrorist attack on a peaceful agitation in Jammu." In a statement, Mr Singh announced a detailed agitation and dharnas in district headquarters of the country against the Jammu killings intended to cleanse Hindu population from Doda region.
Mr Singh said Mr Azad's statement to this effect is unfortunate and it would also encourage terrorist mindset. ''Is it a crime to demand demand public safety, '' added the BJP President .
He said since the UPA government came to power its soft attitude towards terrorists had prompted them to drive out the Hindus from Doda like in Kashmir valley.
