Advani completes AP phase of Suraksha yatra
Adilabad, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 20: BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani's 'Bharat Surakhasha yatra' entered its 11th day as he completes his schedule in Andhra Pradesh today.
Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Advani said, the yatra has received overwhelming response from the people and informed that he had participated in 18 public meetings and addressed 135 receptions throughout the state.
The yatra which had started in Andhra Pradesh on April 15 and covered 810 km has covered a total distance of 2190 km including the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
The yatra would enter its phase in Maharashtra this afternoon with Mr Advani participating in public meetings at Nagpur.
