'BJP to decide on OBC reservation after talks'

Mumbai, Apr 10: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani today said the BJP would decide its stand on the OBC reservation issue after consultation with senior party leaders.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Advani, who is in Mumbai as part of his Bharat Suraksha Yatra said, ''We will consider the issue after consultation with senior colleagues because it is not an ordinary matter.'' He further said that ''we are watching how the government replies to the Election Commission's notice.'' Replying to a query Mr Advani said that his party is yet to decide on its candidates for the May eight Rai Bareli Lok Sabha by-election against Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

''We are discussing the issue with several people,'' he added.
