4 bodies of Bahrain ship victims brought to Kochi
Kochi, Apr 3: The bodies of four of the at least 20 Indians who died in the Thursday night cruise ship capsize off Bahrain were brought here this morning.
The bodies of the young couple Arby Mathew and Seenu Mathew, from Mulanthurthy in Ernakulam district, Kochi resident Basant Kumar and Coimbatore resident Veenu Sampath were brought by Air India flight 956 and Indian Airlines flight 998 to the Nedumbassery International Airport here.
The bodies were received at the airport by officials and the victims' relatives.
Mr Sampath's body was later taken to Coimbatore. The last rites of the victims are expected to be conducted later today.
Seven of the Indians who died in the mishap were from Kerala.
