Jeffrey Epstein Photos Released by House Oversight Committee Prompt Scrutiny of Public Figures
Newly released Jeffrey Epstein photos from a US House committee investigation have put several political and business leaders back under scrutiny, although no crimes are shown. Democrats on the Republican-led House Oversight Committee published 19 images, supplied by Epstein's estate, that feature US presidents, advisers, business leaders and royals in social settings.
The committee records show that these Jeffrey Epstein photos were drawn from a much larger archive given to lawmakers. According to the estate, tens of thousands of digital files were handed over, including material from multiple Epstein homes, and span the period between 1990 and 2019, with certain content removed for "nudity."
The 19 Jeffrey Epstein photos include appearances by US President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton, as well as former Trump adviser Steve Bannon. Other public figures shown are actor Woody Allen, economist Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Richard Branson, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.
These images do not always include Epstein himself, and their presence alone does not suggest criminal behaviour. None of the Jeffrey Epstein photos show sexual acts, and there is no sign of underage girls. The places and exact dates of the images have not been clearly identified by investigators.
Some Jeffrey Epstein photos highlight unusual or informal scenes. One picture shows a bowl filled with novelty condoms, printed with a cartoon of Trump and the label "Trump condom $4.50" along with the slogan "I'm HUUUUGE!" Another image shows Trump posing with six women, whose faces are obscured.
Other Jeffrey Epstein photos place senior figures together. One image shows Steve Bannon standing next to Epstein. Another has Bill Clinton with Ghislaine Maxwell. A separate photograph shows Bill Gates alongside former Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, during what appears to be a social engagement.

In a letter to the Oversight Committee, lawyers for the estate said they had provided photos and videos from any Epstein property between 1990 and 2019. The lawyers stressed that any redactions in the Jeffrey Epstein photos collection related only to "nudity," and not to the identities of public figures.
Democratic Representative Robert Garcia, the committee’s ranking member, said the archive includes "over 95,000 photos, including images of the wealthy and powerful men who spent time with Jeffrey Epstein" and also "thousands of photographs of women and Epstein properties." Garcia argued that the scale of Jeffrey Epstein photos raises serious questions about past investigations.
Garcia further stated, "It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," and called on the US Justice Department to release all related documents at once, saying the new Jeffrey Epstein photos "raise even more questions."
Neither Bill Clinton nor Bill Gates has been charged with any offence linked to Epstein. A spokesperson for Clinton said Clinton ended contact with Epstein before the 2019 arrest and did not know about Epstein’s crimes. A spokesperson for Gates denied any business ties, and Gates later called meeting Epstein "a huge mistake."
