India Officially Responds to Trump's Allegations Regarding Pakistan's Nuclear Tests

India has officially addressed the recent allegations made by former U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Pakistan's secret nuclear tests. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), represented by spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, highlighted that such activities align with Pakistan's history of smuggling, export control violations, and covert partnerships. This includes the notorious AQ Khan network known for nuclear proliferation.

Jaiswal stressed that India has consistently brought these issues to the attention of the international community. The MEA's statement pointed out that Trump's comments echo concerns previously raised by India and other nations about Pakistan's nuclear activities. This reflects a long-standing pattern of illicit behavior by Islamabad.

During a recent interview, Trump claimed that several countries, including Pakistan, Russia, China, and North Korea, have been conducting underground nuclear tests. He noted that the United States has not engaged in such testing for decades. In response, Pakistan dismissed the allegation, asserting it was neither the first to conduct nuclear tests nor would it be the first to resume them.

India's position underscores its continuous vigilance over Pakistan's nuclear program. It supports the global narrative highlighting Islamabad's history of secretive and unlawful nuclear activities. This stance aligns with concerns shared by other countries about Pakistan's nuclear conduct over the years.

The MEA's response reaffirms India's commitment to drawing international attention to these issues. By doing so, India aims to ensure global awareness of Pakistan's nuclear record and its implications for regional and global security.
