Trivandrum/Trichy, Sept 26: BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address an event celebrating the 60th birthday of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi at Amritapuri in Kerala on Thursday. Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) is a spiritual leader and humanitarian who is known for her decades-long service to the world community. The event will begin at 10.30 am.

Modi arrived at Trivandrum on Wednesday night. Earlier in the day, he addressed a mega BJP workers' rally in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh along with other heavyweight leaders of the party.

Modi is also scheduled to visit a huge BJP youth conference in Trichy in Tamil Nadu later on Thursday. Superstar actor Rajanikanth is likely to meet him on the occasion after the BJP sent him an invitation to participate in the rally.
