Atham to Thiruvonam: Know the 10-day celebrations of Onam
New Delhi, Aug 30: Onam is a major harvest festival in the southernmost Indian state of Kerala. The festival is observed for 10 days and the Keralites celebrate it very enthusiastically. This year, Onam will begin on 30 August and end on 8 September.
Onam has observed Shukla Trayodashi of Shravana asterism in the Chingam Malayalam month (end of August and start of September).
