Google Gemini: Advanced AI Subscription Now In India - Price And Benefits Inside

Gemini Ultra, the powerful language model, has been released by Google for integration into its AI chatbot.

Formerly known as Bard, the chatbot has now been renamed Gemini, with the version incorporating Gemini Ultra identified as Gemini Advanced.

Google's Gemini language models

Last year, Google introduced its Large Language Models (LLMs) named Gemini, which are utilized to power AI chatbots. These models are available in three versions: Gemini Ultra, Gemini Pro, and Gemini Nano.

Gemini Nano, designed for smartphones like the Google Pixel 8 Pro, is the smallest model. Following that is Gemini Pro, which drives the free version of Google Gemini (formerly Bard).

The most powerful model, Gemini Ultra, is now employed in Gemini Advanced (previously Bard Advanced). This model offers enhanced capabilities and is Google's most powerful LLM accessible. In India, trying Gemini Advanced costs Rs 1,950 per month, but Google One subscribers may access it for two months at no cost.

What is Google Gemini?

A multimodal chatbot named Gemini has been introduced by Google. It has the capability to interact with information across text, images, code, and more. Similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT and Microsoft's Copilot, images can be generated based on the text input. Additionally, languages with cultural nuances can be translated, or musical compositions can be received based on text descriptions, all through Google Gemini.

Can I use Gemini?

Access options are emerging, although it's not quite a free-for-all yet:
* Premium Plan: Google's Gemini "Advanced" version will be accessible with a Google One AI Premium subscription. A fee of Rs 1,950 will need to be paid by the user to access this.
* Free Version: For the free version, gemini.google.com can be visited and logged into via a Google account. The free version, which has replaced Bard chatbot, will redirect users to the Gemini chatbot when accessing Bard.

In India, Google One offers a subscription service with expanded cloud storage across four tiers:

• Basic tier provides 100GB for Rs 130 per month.
• Standard tier offers 200GB for Rs 210 per month.
• Premium tier provides 2TB for Rs 650 per month.
• Premium tier also offers 5TB for Rs 1,625 per month.

Subscribers to the Standard and Premium tiers are entitled to free access to Gemini Advanced for two months. After this period, they can continue using it by paying Rs 1,950 per month. Subscribers on the Basic plan can upgrade to at least the Standard plan to access Gemini Advanced.
