Omar Abdullah participates in 'Swachh Bharat' campaign, earns PM's praise

Modi on Thursday praised Abdullah for taking up the broom and participating in the 'Swachh Bharat' campaign in Srinagar.

Omar Abdullah had joined the Srinagar Municipal Corporation on Thursday and had cleaned flood affected areas in Srinagar. Omar was nominated by Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who took part in the Swachh Bharat campaign earlier this month.

Modi was in Jammu and Kashmir to interact with the soldiers and the people affected by the recent floods. He said that he would celebrate Diwali with the people here.
