PV Sindhu's Marriage Date, Place & The Groom Details

Badminton star PV Sindhu has a good news in store for her fans across the country. Well, the shuttler is all set to enter wedlock, this month.

The two-time Olympic medalist shuttler's father PV Ramana has confirmed the news to PTI. He said, "The two families knew each other but it was only a month ago that everything was finalised. This was the only possible window as her schedule will be hectic from January,"

Who Is Her Husband To Be?

The groom is Hyderabad-based Venkata Datta Sai who works as an executive director at Posidex Technologies. However, not much information is available about him at this stage.

Wedding Date & Timing

Her father has announced that his daughter's marriage will be performed on December 22 in Udaipur. However, the wedding reception will be held in Hyderabad.

However, the elaborate wedding ceremony will begin from December 20. It is likely to be attended by some of the top names from sports field, film industry and political circles.

She is considered one of India's most successful sportspersons in the country as she won medals at various tournaments like the Olympics and on the BWF circuit, including a gold at the 2019 World Championships. Also, Sindhu is the only Indian to become the badminton world champion and only the second individual athlete from India to win two consecutive medals at the Olympic Games.

Her father added, "The reception will be held in Hyderabad on December 24. She will start her training soon after as the next season is going to be important."
