Athens (Greece): Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic added another milestone to his illustrious career by defeating Italy's Lorenzo Musetti in a thrilling three-set final to win the Hellenic Championship 2025 on November 8.

In a match that stretched over three grueling sets, Djokovic triumphed 4-6, 6-3, 7-5, claiming his 101st ATP title. With this victory, the 38-year-old also became the oldest player ever to win an ATP Tour title, further cementing his place in tennis history.

A Gruelling Final Battle

The final witnessed intense rallies and high-quality tennis from both players. Musetti, known for his flair and resilience, took the opening set 6-4, but Djokovic bounced back strongly to claim the next two sets and seal the championship.

"Incredible battle. It's just, I don't know, three hours. A gruelling match physically, super demanding. Lorenzo played really well," Djokovic said after the match, as quoted by News18.
"It could have been anybody's game. Congrats to him for an amazing performance - I'm very proud of myself to get through this one," he added.
