India Celebrated as Top Team Following T20 World Cup Victory

Former and current cricketers celebrated India's second T20 World Cup victory after Rohit Sharma's team defeated South Africa by seven runs in a thrilling final in Bridgetown on Saturday.

"We are champions!" rejoiced ace spinner and 2011 World Cup winner Ravichandran Ashwin. Former India captain and head coach Anil Kumble also expressed his joy, writing, "Congratulations team India! Wonderful victory." Harbhajan Singh, another former spinner, shared his excitement with, "YEH MERA INDIA. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS. SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS."

An ambassador for the T20 World Cup in the Americas, Yuvraj Singh individually praised all key members of the side. Legendary Sachin Tendulkar shared his excitement during the game with a tweet saying, "Chak De India!!!!" Former India captain and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly also congratulated the side.
