Euro Cup 2024: Spain defeated England by 2-1 in the Euro Cup 2024 finals on Sunday at Germany's Olympiastadion in Berlin. Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal powered Spain to register the title win and made England wait for some more time for a major trophy win at the highest level. It was a nail-biter as Spain and England's stars displayed excellent skills with the ball. Continuous passing and dribbling by star players entertained the fans a lot and fans got to see 3 goals in the Euro Cup final.

The first half of the game went goalless. But in the second half, Spanish stars changed their gear and Nico Williams managed to score the first lead in the 47th minute of the game. Spain's lead continued for some minutes, and when it was looking like the Spanish stars were dominating the game, English striker Cole Palmer in the 73rd minute hit the nets to level the scores.

Palmer's strike brought happiness back to England's camp. But when it was looking like the match would get tied and extra time would be needed, Mikel Oyarzabal scored the match-winning goal in the final minutes to make Spain's lead 2-1.

The winner of Euro Cup 2024, Spain, bagged a whopping €28.25 million (approximately Rs 256.84 crore) prize money, while runner-up England received a prize of €24.25 million (approximately Rs 220.48 crore).
