What A Yorker! Jasprit Bumrah's Speedy Delivery Knocks Down Ollie Pope's stumps, Watch Video

On day two of India vs England Second Test match, which is being played at Visakhapatnam's Dr YS Rajashekhara stadium, Speedster Jasprit Bumrah, known for his deadly pace bowling, bowled a brilliant yorker that mesmerized fans and shocked Olie Pope.

It was Bumrah's second spell after lunch, when the pacer knocked back-to-back wickets of Joe Root and Ollie Pope, in the 25th and 27th over, pushing England into a difficult situation.

Jasprit Bumrah Bowls Unplayable Yorker

Bumrah claimed Pope's wicket for the fifth time in 10 innings, with this dismissal being particularly significant. Pope had previously scored a match-winning 196 runs in the second innings of the opening Test match in Hyderabad.

In the second session of the Vizag match, Pope's dismissal marked England's fourth wicket loss, leaving them in a precarious position. Before him, Bumrah picked up Root's wicket with an unplayable outswinger.

  • Returning to strike after completing the two runs, Pope encountered a decisive blow from Bumrah, showcasing the bowler's class.
  • The wicket-taking delivery, tailing back substantially, uprooted the middle and leg pole of Pope before his bat could come down.

With this powerful knock, Jaiswal joined the elite club of left-handed batsmen to score double hundred with Vinod Kambli, Sourav Ganguly, and Gautam Gambhir.

Yashasvi Jaiswal's 209 helped Team India to pin a total of 396 runs in the first inning.
