Watch: Rohit Sharma's Dressing Room Viral Speech After Mumbai Indians Beat Delhi Capitals At IPL 2024

A video of the former Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma is doing round the internet, in which, he can be seen addressing and boosting the confidence of teammates after the franchise bounced back on the winning track. On Sunday, Mumbai Indians marked their first win against Delhi Capitals by 29 runs after losing 3 straight matches in the Indian Premier League aka IPL 2024. Rohit Sharma was the writer of Mumbai's win as he notched quick 49 runs, falling a run short of registering his 43rd half-centurie.

Rohit Sharma also received a special award in the dressing room from Mumbai Indians by coach Mark Boucher for his important match winning-inning.

The viral video shows, Mark Boucher acknowledging Rohit Sharma's performance stating: "Ro, we are going to give the award to you as you are the senior statesman in the batting line-up." To which, Rohit Sharma reacted with a cheeky smile and Caribbean star Kieron Pollard pinned a "MI-star" batch on Rohit's jersey.

Ahead in the video, Rohit Sharma can heard saying: "I thought it was a wonderful batting performance. It's something that we've all been striving for from game one. Goes to show that individual performances don't matter if the whole batting group can stand up and put their hand up. If we look at the team's goal, we can achieve that kind of a total.

"It is something that we've been talking about for a long time. It's something that the batting coach (Pollard), Mark (Boucher), and the captain (Hardik) want. Wonderful to see that, like you said, long may that continue," the latter added.

Notably, Rohit Sharma has not kept his side yet on Mumbai Indians team management's decision to replace him with Hardik Pandya, who was acquired from Gujarat Titans (GT) for a whopping 15 Crore deal.
