Watch: David Warner's 'Main Jhukega Nahi Saala' Trademark From 'Pushpa' Steals The Show In Aus-Pak Clash

In a thrilling World Cup clash between Australia and Pakistan at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Australian opener David Warner lit up the cricketing world with both his remarkable century and his unique 'Pushpa' celebration. Warner's 21st ODI century was a testament to his exceptional cricketing skills, as he scored a blistering 106 off just 85 balls. But it was his celebration that truly captured the attention of fans worldwide.

After reaching his century, Warner took his love of Indian culture to the next level by reenacting an iconic scene from the movie 'Pushpa'. In the scene, the protagonist Pushpa Raj (played by Allu Arjun) utters the famous dialogue "Main jhukega nahi sala" ("I will not bend"). The Chinnaswamy Stadium crowd erupted in cheers, and the video of the celebration quickly went viral on social media.

David Warner's deep-seated affection for Allu Arjun and his iconic 'Pushpa' dance step is no secret, and it's a sentiment that extends far beyond the cricket field. This fondness was earlier on full display during his stint with the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). His lively and entertaining performances, which included reenacting the 'Srivalli' dance step and the unforgettable 'Jhukega nahi' step from 'Pushpa,' struck a chord with the audience and firmly established his fanbase in India.

Meanwhile, Australia dominated Pakistan in their World Cup match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, piling up a mammoth 367/9 on the back of a record-breaking opening stand between David Warner and Mitchell Marsh.

Warner and Marsh put on 259 for the first wicket, the highest opening stand for Australia in the World Cup and the sixth-highest in World Cup history. They hit 18 sixes and 24 fours between them, with Warner scoring 163 and Marsh scoring 121.

Pakistan finally managed to exert some control by taking eight wickets for 104, with Shaheen Afridi producing a superb late spell to end up with 5/54. However, the damage had already been done, and Australia went on to win the match by a comfortable margin.

The Warner-Marsh partnership was a masterclass in batting, and it showed why Australia are one of the favorites to win the World Cup. Both batsmen were in prime form, and they never gave Pakistan a chance to get back into the game.
