Security Measures for Practice Session
Later that day, the Indian cricket team was scheduled to practice at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. To ensure their safety during transit between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, extensive security measures were implemented. S Dev Datta Singh, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissioner, confirmed these arrangements.
A traffic advisory was also issued to aid public convenience during the players' movement. "Around 50 platoons of forces have been deployed," stated the police commissioner. This ensured minimal disruption for both the team and local residents.
The team's visit to the temple and subsequent practice session highlighted their dedication amidst tight schedules. Such visits are often seen as a way for players to seek divine support before crucial matches.
