Virat Kohli Tells Camerapersons To Go Away, Here's What Happened

Virat Kohli, the backbone of India's batting order, looked more focused during the net session ahead of the second battle between India and South Africa in Cape Town. The second match of the two-test series is slated from January 3 to 7 at the Newlands Cricket Ground. Virat hit the nets hard as he batted for long on green top pitches of South Africa against Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravichandran Ashwin during the practice session.

Team India would eye to avenge Centurion's heartbreaking defeat at Cape Town by winning the second test and level the scores. Fans would not be surprised if skipper Rohit Sharma tries speedster Mukesh Kumar in place of Prasidh Krishna, and promotes Ravindra Jadeja, who is making a comeback after injury, ahead of R Ashwin.

Reviewing team's preparation for the enthralling test, Rohan Deshmukh from Star Sports, in a video said, "Most of the players came around 9:30 AM. Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill started the proceeding. Virat Kohli and Shubman Gil played six balls each at the center wicket. In front of them were Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravichandran Ashwin. They played for around half an hour. They face bowling of specific lengths."

Deshmusk said Virat looked more focused as he asked camera persons to move aside. "Unhone aas paas jitne bhi camerapersons then unko side me kiya (He told the camerapersons to move to a side)."

Virat and Shubhman asked bowlers to bowl more good-length balls so that they could play shots even on good balls. "Approximately 6-8m length was used. All pace bowlers were asked to bowl at that length. Bumrah, Siraj bowled for half an hour. All the deliveries were bowled with that length. even when Ashwin bowled, his delivery dropped at one end of the markers. It looks like a focused approach," he said.
