Pursuing only 128, Rajasthan never looked under pressure as Sooryavanshi's explosive knock blew the game wide open in the powerplay itself. His fearless batting ensured RR made light work of the target, eventually reaching 128/2 in 12.1 overs.

By the end of the chase, Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Riyan Parag remained unbeaten at the crease, sealing an emphatic victory for the hosts in Guwahati.

CSK Collapse Early After Powerplay Horror Show

Earlier in the evening, Chennai Super Kings endured a disastrous start after being asked to bat first. Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag won the toss and chose to bowl, a decision that paid off almost immediately.

CSK lost four wickets inside the powerplay as their top order crumbled under pressure. Nandre Burger led the early destruction, striking twice and jolting Chennai's innings. Among his key blows was the wicket of Sanju Samson, who managed just 6 before falling cheaply.

Ruturaj Gaikwad also failed to make an impact, with Jofra Archer removing the CSK batter during the early collapse. Brijesh Sharma then added to Chennai's misery by claiming his maiden wicket, dismissing Kartik Sharma for 18.
