Suryakumar Yadav, Axar Patel Troll Tilak Verma For This Reason
Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 and the prestigious Indian Premier League (IPL 2024), Indian cricketers are leaving no stone unturned. Gearing up to prove their metal once again, players are hitting the gyms hard and sweating out in nets for hours. But this time, something unusual happened that left fans split. Suryakumar Yadav and Axar Patel trolled Tilak Verma on Instagram after the youngster posted a video of himself working out.
For the unversed, Tilak Verma made his international debut in the white ball format last year and impressed everyone with his strong batting technique and pinch-hitting.

"Sticking to my New Year's resolution. No better way to start 2024," Tilak Verma captioned his workout video. The video gathered thousands of views, likes, and comments. But two comments stole the spotlight.
India's T20 captain for the South Africa series, Suryakumar Yadav made fun of Tilak Verma saying "Kaun batata hai teko ye sab nakli captions (Who gives you these fake comments)". Yadav's comment got hundreds of laughing reactions from their followers.
Soon Axar Patel too tickled Verma exposing that the video is an old one, which he recorded on December 30, and not in the new year. "Caption k sath sath video b nakli hai ye training to usne 30 dec ko ki thi (Apart from the caption, the video is also fake as he had recorded it on December 30)." Patel said.
India will lock horns with Afghanistan for the three-match T20I series slated for January 11, 14 and 17.
