Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan Bag BCCI Annual Contracts; Rishabh Pant Gets Promoted

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced its annual contracts for India's men's cricket team. BCCI's central contract includes names of 34 cricketers, divided into four categories (Grades A+, A, B, and C) based on their performance and importance to the team. Every year, BCCI used to name only 30 cricketers, but this time, 34 players have been given central contracts.

The elite group (A+) includes names of senior cricketers Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja.

Star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been promoted to Grade A, in place of R Ashwin, who bid adieu to international cricket after the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2025.

Grade A also includes Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya.

The Grade B list includes Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar Yadav. While Ishan Kishan has been named in Grade C along with Rinku Singh, and Prasidh Krishna.
