Shoaib Akhtar's Bhagavad Gita Post Creates Buzz On Internet

Pakistan's former cricket turned commentator Shoaib Akhtar on Monday created a buzz on the internet. Shoaib, who is known for his bold statements nowadays, shared a quote from Bhagavad Gita on his Instagram story, saying "There's no greater enemy than an uncontrolled mind."

Shoaib Akhtar's post went viral within minutes leading to mix reactions from people around the globe. Some people took it as a sarcastic comment for Pakistan's cricket team, while some counted it as a praise for Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who did not lose control over his mind even in the adverse situation during the T20 World Cup finals against South Africa held at the Kensington Oval, Barbados.

Pakistan's speed icon had earlier predicted that Team India will win the T20 World Cup 2024 after Rohit Sharma and co. outclassed Australia in the Super 8, and his prediction turned out to be true.

In another post, while Congratulating the Men in Blue, Shoaib Akhtar said "Rohit Sharma has made it. Emotions are really high, well-deserving victory for India."

And now, Akhtar's Bhagavad Gita quote post surprised many as despite being a star of the rival nation, the latter never hesitates to praise the Indian cricket team. Though, the message behind Akhtar's post remains unclear, but it clearly shows that he wanted to show the mirror to some people who made many big claims before the start of the tournament and made a silent exit.
