Rohit Sharma's Wife Ritika Sajdeh Reveals Baby Boy's Name
Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh have named their newly born baby boy as Ahaan. The couple was blessed with second child on November 15, 2024. Rohit had opted out of the first Test against Australia in Perth to be with his family. Jasprit Bumrah led India to a 295-run victory in Rohit's absence.
Ritika shared the news on Instagram, posting a Christmas-themed family cutout. The image featured nicknames: "Ro" for Rohit, "Rits" for Ritika, "Sammy" for their daughter Samaira, and "Ahaan" for their newborn son. The post was simply captioned "December".

Rohit's Return to Cricket
After the birth of his son, Rohit rejoined the Indian team for a warm-up match against Prime Minister's XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra. The match, initially planned for two days, was reduced to one due to rain. Rohit batted at number four and scored three runs off 11 balls.
The upcoming Test series is significant for India as they aim to secure a spot in the ICC World Test Championship final. Rohit will return to his usual opening position for the Adelaide pink-ball day-night Test starting December 6.
Performance Overview
In seven Tests in Australia, Rohit has accumulated 408 runs with an average of 31.38. He has three half-centuries and a top score of 63*. However, his recent form has been concerning. In five Tests against Bangladesh and New Zealand, he scored only 133 runs at an average of 13.30.
During the home season, his scores were: 6, 5, 23, 8, 2, 52, 0, 8, 18, and 11. In the year 2023 alone, he amassed 588 runs across 11 Tests with two centuries and two fifties.

In the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (2023-25), Rohit has scored a total of 833 runs in 14 Tests at an average of 33.32. His performance includes three centuries and four fifties with a best score of 131.
Rohit's first child with Ritika is Samaira who was born in 2018. He had hinted at their second child's birth through an Instagram post referencing Friends sitcom with the caption "The FAMILY, the one where we are four."
