'Pehle Hi Do Zero': Rohit Sharma Says To Umpire, Stump Mic Records Funny Conversation At Ind vs Afg 3rd T20
At the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, team India is taking on Afghanistan in the third and final encounter of the three-match series. However, Rohit Sharma and men started their inning in a not-so-good manner as India's first four wickets fell early. Opener Yashsvi Jaiswal was the first one to depart after scoring only 4 runs.
Virat Kohli was the second one to get out, who also marked his first-ever golden duck in the T20 career. Shivam Dube, who impressed with back-to-back half-centuries in the first two matches failed to impress at Bengaluru. He got out for only 1 run.

Dube was followed by Sanju Samson who was trying to launch the counterattack. Samson also marked a golden duck in today's match. But despite all the tremors, skipper Rohit Sharma held one end and continued trying to steady the ship.
During the course, Rohit Sharma was caught on stump mic mocking on-field umpire Virender Sharma. During the second over of India's inning, a ball from Azmatullah Omarzai took the inside edge of Rohit's bat resulting in an easy run. However, it was called a leg bye by the on-field umpire. Rohit could not control his reaction and said "Hey Viru (Virender Sharma), pahle hi do zero ho gaya hai." (I have already scored two ducks)
The video of Rohit Sharm's double zero jibe went viral in no time and fans laughed out loud after watching it.
For this match, the Indian captain made three changes to the side. Sanju Samson, Avesh Khan and Kuldeep Yadav got the chance in place of Jitesh Sharma, Arshdeep Singh, and Axar Patel respectively.
"We will bat first. We bowled in the first two games, so we'll bat today. Nothing to do with the wicket, just want to try some combinations and give some chances. We have ticked a few boxes, this is another opportunity to try new faces. We have made three changes -Sanju, Avesh, and Kuldeep are in. Axar, Jitesh, and Arshdeep are out," Rohit Sharma said at the time of the toss.
