Rohit Sharma Drops 'Hat-trick Catch', Axar Patel Picks 2 Wickets In 2 Balls
Men in Blue made a dominating start in the Champions Trophy 2025 India vs Bangladesh match. It was a brilliant display of performance by Indian bowlers as pacers Mohammed Shami and Harshit Rana drew early blood. Shami, who returned to the playing field after a long time, notched 2 quick wickets from one end. While young gun Harshit Rana imitated the same line and length and sent Bangladeshi Captain Najmal Sanano back to the pavilion.
But it was Axar Patel who stole all the limelight as left-arm spinner picked up 2 wickets in 2 balls. Axar missed out on his hat-trick by inches as skipper Rohit Sharma dropped Jaker Ali's catch in the slips, which could have been spinner's third wicket.

Rohit Sharma, hit his hand on the ground multiple times, after missing out on the opportunity to take another wicket. He immediately said sorry to the bowler and admitted his mistake.
